Rosie for Autograph Cream Eyeshadow Stick

Rosie for Autograph Cream Eyeshadow Sticks
Almond Eyes, Sparkle & Magic, Feline Fox
I called these in (rare for me) when I did my piece on eye shadow sticks because I'd heard great thnigs about them was really impressed. I'm not in to celebrity make-up or skincare ranges. Geekily I'm much more impressed by people in the make-up/skincare business and what products they come up with - I'm not sure I'd watch them sing in a music video.

They are actually the first products I've used from the Rosie for Autograph range purely because the stand in my local Marks and Spencer (Hammersmith I'm looking at you) is badly stocked and dirty and generally yeugh. The packaging is beautiful, vintage looking and not dissimilar to Charlotte Tilbury's but I feel like you really pay for the Charlotte Tilbury packaging whereas the Rosie for Autograph products are more affordable (dare I say it reasonable).

So to the colours, only four but they are all wearable for everyone and I sort of get the idea that the whole brand is sort of small and well thought out colour-wise. All of them have sparkle in them, not much but a bit, I wasn't sure at first but they look so beautiful on. Very blendable and you can use them as a base either for other cream shadow sticks or powders.

I found that these lasted all day and I always get asked what I'm wearing on my eyes - especially when I'm wearing Sparkle & Magic which was actually the colour I was most dubious about. It looks very grey but is actually more taupe (and therefore more flattering). My favourite way to wear these is as a blended out wash over the lid and with a bit of black liner and lots of mascara. They don't crease at all and the best thing is that it's a cruelty free brand - hurrah!

My only problem with these is that they don't seem to have the colour written on them. Which is fine I guess unless you are me and can't remember what colour is what when you are recommending them. I must be responsible for at least half the traffic to the webpage.

I feel like this brand is placed to be the affordable, High St Charlotte Tilbury and from these I'm quite confident that the other products will be up to scratch.
If you want eyeshadow pencils these ones are great to go and try out - though I love the concept of the Charlotte Tilbury pencils matching eye colour and the Bobbi Brown ones have a great range of colours their are significantly more expensive and to be honest there is not much difference to them at all (the pigmentation on the CT ones is great but then these are not such punchy colours).  I would definitely buy these again.
