Balance Me Firming Body Oil - I'm a bit unsure that firming body oils really do anything but the LimeLife one works beautifully so I would definitely give this one a go and it's had great reviews https://tidd.ly/3BuPhFn

How to do your own bridal make-up - base

I've listed a lot of products below and have put a * next to products I've used in the video - everything else is just an alternative suggestion that I would substitute in if needed.
The key to great bridal base make-up is building up thin layers of product rather than fewer thicker ones. This will keep everything blended and fresh and make it last longer and move less.
I don't make it clear at the end but if you apply your make-up a while before your wedding and want to freshen it up then sprtizing it with a setting spray is a great idea. Any questions please feel free to ask and, if you haven't already, subscribe to my channel.

Sunday Spend
I haven't done this for a while but though I'm definitely one of those people who does not want to think about Christmas too early however, there's no harm in keeping an eye out for things that may make the final dash to get everyone's presents sorted, a little less grim.

Friday Video - UMA Expo 2015 Vlog
It's a bit wobbly and I'm panting the whole time but I thought it would be nice to get a feel for this for those who were thinking of attending and didn't for whatever reason. I really love it and highly recommend it...

Julia Townend Body Painting Demo at Illamasqua
Julia's own gold leaf used in the hair line |
What I love about Julia is she is really down-to-earth and funny in an industry that can tend towards the bitchy side she has worked hard and let her talent do the talking. She chats (and tells insider stories) and somehow this amazing creation evolves in front of you. Only from listening to her speak do you realise what research and sketching has gone into the creation before it even makes it onto a body and how her use of colours and techniques from previous body paints influences her future one. I felt as though what we saw was just part of a link in the chain of her work.
It's also refreshing to meet someone in the industry who things of the model she's working on - to model for body painting often means wearing nothing but a thong but she is constantly checking that they feel comfortable and as warm as possible and when we arrived she'd already applied textures and base layers of paint to the bust area to make her feel more relaxed. By the end the model said she felt as though she was covered.
I try to go to as many demonstrations, open days, tutorials and events that I can. You never stop learning with make-up and not only did I learn so much but I felt completely inspired which has never happened to me with body painting. I went home wanting to try out these techniques and experiment with the colours and products I already have in my kit for regular make-up and I can't wait to buy some of her products when they are available. If you are a fan of amazing make-up then definitely check Julia out on her website, on Twitter, Pinterest and Facebook.

Autumn/Winter Wedding Guest Make-up - Friday Video
I've had to refilm this three times due to camera teething problems and it's still not great but you get the general idea. I love doing my make-up when I'm off to an autumn/winter wedding as I feel I can go a bit more full-on than I would in summer. I also got to use my Clarins face powder, the smell of which reminds me of being young - I love it.

Subtle Contour for Jo - Friday Video
My friend Jo is getting married and although she is doing her own make-up on the day I've been helping her chose what products to use. One of the products I recommended is Hollow by Illamasqua as a contour. I wasn't able to see her to show her how to use it beforehand so I did a video. Because it's so specific and I needed to film it and get it posted as soon as possible it's a bit longer than normal but hopefully helpful!

Alex Box - Friday Video
I wasn't going to do one today... but I could watch this woman all day so I think it's definitely worthy of being the Friday video
